Savonia XR Center
The XR Center is an XR technology laboratory in the design and conceptualisation phase, whose service offering was developed in collaboration with the VirTech project at Savonia. The aim is to provide companies in the region with the training and expertise they need in XR technologies and equipment. The XR Center offers the possibility to perform hardware, application and user testing. Currently, our contribution is in the area of pedagogy.
In short, the Virtech project aimed to raise awareness of XR technology in work-life development. Interest in virtual reality, and XR technology in particular, is on the rise. Savonia wants to be involved in the development of augmented reality for educational use and to cooperate with different companies to exploit the potential of XR technology in professional applications.
We cooperate with the Savonian Wellness Center.
We have combined virtual reality with experiential wellness activities. There are two different packages to choose from, combining virtual reality and fast-paced activities.
