Simulated training environment for the laboratory and operating theatre

In partnership with the FutureEdu project, we have developed training and induction environments using VR technology in cooperation between the worlds of work and education. The environments were made in a bioanalytical laboratory and in a perioperative care environment in an operating theatre. More and more sectors are using simulated situations in virtual reality as they are safe learning environments and mimic real-life situations.The environment also instructs the player on how to act in the right way with different information boards.

In the laboratory environment, it is possible to practice the sample collection process from receipt to the final cut. In the same environment, it is also possible to select the ice-clip reception process.

The operating theatre environment prepares the operating theatre before the patient arrives for gall bladder surgery, and also allows the simulation of procedures once the patient arrives for the surgery.
